Team Members

Invite team members and manage roles in your organization


Add team members to your organization so they can access conversations, manage contacts, and collaborate on customer communication.

Go to Organization Settings > Team tab to manage your team.

Roles

Every team member has one of two roles:

Invite team members

  1. Go to Organization Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated for multiple)
  4. Select a role (Admin or Member)
  5. Click Send Invitation

The invitee receives an email with a link to join. If they don't have a Bouncer account, they'll create one during the process.

Invite with custom permissions (Pro)

On Pro plans, you can set fine-grained permissions when inviting:

  1. In the invite dialog, expand the permissions section
  2. Configure instance access and permission overrides
  3. Send the invitation

These permissions apply automatically when the member joins.

Change a member's role

  1. Find the member in the team list
  2. Click the ... menu on their row
  3. Select Make Admin or Make Member

Edit member permissions (Pro)

  1. Click the ... menu on a member's row
  2. Select Edit Permissions
  3. Adjust instance access, chat visibility, and individual permissions
  4. Click Save

Remove a team member

  1. Click the ... menu on the member's row
  2. Select Remove from Organization
  3. Confirm the removal

Removed members immediately lose access to all organization data. Their message history and assignments remain in the system.

Pending invitations

View and manage pending invitations in the Team tab. You can:

  • Resend an invitation if the email was missed
  • Cancel an invitation before it's accepted
  • Edit permissions on pending invitations (Pro)

Invitations expire after 7 days. Send a new invitation if the original expires.
